A.T.M. Zubaidur Rahman (Zubaid) brings more than 35 years of leadership experience managing large-scale, multisectoral, donor-funded programmes with measurable impact. He has a strong track record of delivering results in complex development settings while upholding high standards of compliance, accountability, and operational excellence.
He has deep expertise in programme implementation and operational leadership, including project management, donor compliance, procurement and supply chain management, internal controls, financial and programme monitoring, partnership development, capacity building, and organisational strengthening. He has also led internal and external audits and evaluations, and reviewed and certified partner organisations to strengthen governance and financial integrity.
Throughout his career, Zubaid has worked closely with development partners and government agencies, leading donor engagement and contributing to proposal development and programme design. His strategic judgement and practical approach make him a trusted adviser to institutions seeking to strengthen performance, accountability, and impact.
An accomplished trainer and people leader, he has designed and delivered capacity-building initiatives for NGOs and development professionals. He served as a core facilitator for USAID Rules and Regulations Lessons Learned workshops, training senior professionals from national and international organisations. He is widely recognised for his strengths in people management, mentoring, safeguarding, and risk management in complex operational environments.
Zubaid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and an MBA.
