Khandaker Mahabub Hassan is a seasoned ICT leader with more than 25 years of experience delivering technology-driven impact across international NGOs and development organisations. He has strengthened humanitarian and development programmes by building resilient, secure, and future-ready ICT systems that help organisations serve communities effectively, even in challenging environments.
His career includes senior ICT leadership roles at CARE Bangladesh and international assignments with CARE Uganda, CARE Pakistan, CARE Sri Lanka, and CARE USA in Atlanta. He has led enterprise-wide digital transformation, ERP implementation projects such as SCALA and Inspire, and cloud solutions built on Microsoft Azure and modern workplace platforms. His leadership has supported nationwide operations for more than 800 users, ensured business continuity during major emergencies, and aligned country operations with global ICT standards.
A strong advocate of people-centred technology, Hassan is committed to building organisational capacity through mentoring, structured training, and knowledge sharing. His expertise in cybersecurity, infrastructure, ERP systems, and IT service management is reinforced by globally recognised certifications and a strong commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
Widely respected for his collaborative leadership style, Hassan works closely with global digital teams, partners, and vendors to deliver complex ICT solutions, guide ERP assessments, and support rapid emergency deployments. His work has been recognised through awards for outstanding performance, long service, and exceptional ICT leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, as an ICT Manager, Consultant, and Systems Administrator, Hassan helps NGOs and development partners shape ICT strategy, strengthen digital resilience, and build secure, sustainable, and efficient operations. His work enables organisations to move forward with confidence in an increasingly digital world.
